The Reading Depot of Lister Wilder is well placed south of the M4 to be available for all aspects of the franchises held by the Group. Heading the team is Martin MacQueen who’s career has evolved from 24 years directly on farm machinery. On The service side Andy Keller has been involved with Massey Ferguson for 38 years. More recently they have been joined by Terry Pring in the Parts Department again with 40 years experience providing quality parts service.
With the increasing pressure on key equipment and its high levels of complexity and sophistication, extra support at prime times is drawn from the Wallingford and Devizes depots – which are able to assist in supporting the customers that the Reading depot has acquired over many years. Combined with essential updated training campaigns laid on by the manufacturer, the company ensures its staff are right up to the minute in the advice they can give the customer and in-turn use the latest technology for complicated diagnostic repairs.
The AGCO stable that holds Massey Ferguson has in more recent times bought the armoury of Fendt and Challenger brands to their stable. The benefits of a family owned business with a multi-depot demand do much to create strong purchasing power and readiness of equipment for delivery from the leading franchises in the industry. Lister Wilder is indeed very proud of its distinction level award from Massey Ferguson and is continually aiming to improve its support of customers from so may different fields.
