Current Service Roles

Agricultural Service Engineers

All Branches

Full Desc

About the role…

We are currently looking for top-flight Agricultural Service Engineers to join our Service Departments at Cirencester, Bristol/Bath, Reading, Guildford and Ashford. You will be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team and, as you would expect, we have a very well-structured training programme that works in conjunction with the manufacturer. The work is technically challenging, and you will be working on some of the most advanced machinery in the market drawing heavily on your knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics.

We have been fortunate to welcome many engineers from other dealerships who have gone on to thrive within our business and they have proved that changing companies can really make a difference. It’s also clear that switching brands can feel strange for a while, but the support that’s available from within our depot combined with a structured training programme, means that within no time at all you feel part of the family.

An NVQ in Land Based Engineering is highly desirable, but most importantly, you will need to have a positive appreciation for the countryside and the unique demands of farming if you are to really fall in love with the job!

Let’s Talk…

We value the role of the service engineer extremely highly. This is not only reflected in the way you are treated but we make sure that our pay is amongst the best in the industry. If you would like to learn more about this exciting career opportunity within our company, then please contact us today.

Standard Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm… and of course, plenty of overtime 😊

Groundcare Service Engineers

About the role…

We are currently looking for top-flight Groundcare Service Engineers to join our Service Departments at Cirencester, Bristol/Bath, Reading, Guildford and Ashford. You would be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team with a good mix of age and experience and whilst the work is technically challenging, we look to provide a well-structured training program that works in conjunction with Kubota UK. Much of the repair and service work is carried out on-site and so a fully expensed vehicle will be provided. The mainly mobile role means that every day is different, but you still retain the support of the base at Guildford and the majority of our work tends to be with contractors, councils, schools, golf courses and private estates within Surrey and the surrounding area.

About you…

Full product training will be provided but we are looking to work with someone who already has a very solid foundation, ideally possessing an extensive knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics. Many of these skills will be interchangeable from related industries but previous experience with Groundcare or Construction machinery would be ideal. It’s also important that you are comfortable in front of the customer as you’ll be speaking to many of them about the service, repair, diagnostic or warranty work that you have undertaken and ensuring they are happy with the job before moving on to the next.
