Meet the Team 2

Krissi Holt
Service Manager, Ockham Depot

‘It is really exciting times for Lister Wilder and it feels great to be a part of it!’

Meet Krissi, your Service Manager at our Ockham depot. If you asked Krissi 10 years ago where she saw herself today, you may be surprised to find it isn’t in the machinery industry. Originally destined for a career in the Police, Krissi found an unlikely passion for machines and now almost 8 years later is your go-to lady for service in the Ockham area.

If you have had the chance to speak with Krissi you will instantly feel at ease with her bubbly and energetic nature and her passion to give you the best customer service. So, lets delve a little deeper into how it all started for Krissi.

‘I started my career working with Godfrey’s; a John Deere golf and turf dealership, close to where I was living. Due to company changes I found myself moving over to Lister Wilder as a depot administrator. I was so passionate about staying in the industry so I was delighted to join the team. From here I found myself stepping up to Service Manager at Ockham depot, this was a really positive move for me as I am extremely driven and I love my job.

A huge part of any job is the team of course, working for Lister Wilder is great. The family aspect of it is lovely, you can pick up the phone to the directors and have a chat if you needed to. It’s a lot nicer than working for a larger corporate company where I imagine those relationships may not be as close. I work alongside some fantastic people with incredible industry knowledge, learning is what makes me tick so being able to take away new skills is another massive plus for my role. As a manager I have been able to go onto training courses to help grow within the job and ultimately be the best for our customers.’

With some big changes happening to the company in 2020 we spoke with Krissi about her ambitions for the service team going forward.

‘It is really exciting times for Lister Wilder and it feels great to be a part of it. My aim for the team is be the best that we can be. We recently received GOLD Dealer award from Kubota and next time I want to be GOLD Plus, it is a fantastic boost for the team when our hard work is recognised.’

With the recent GOLD dealer status, Lister Wilder have selected Krissi to go on a trip to Japan to represent the company. She will be able to see first-hand how the manufacturing and operations business is run over at the Head Quarters there. ‘Being selected for the trip to Japan has been such a lovely surprise.  This will enable me to further understand the Kubota business and I am really looking forward to it, when COVID allows us to of course!’

It’s not all about work and in her spare time Krissi likes to cook and bake as well as walk her four-year old Puggle. ‘Family is very important to me; I have a fantastic nephew who I love to spend time with.’ When we asked Krissi to describe herself in one word, she felt customer-focussed, despite slightly bending the one-word rules, described her down to the ground. ‘I really feel like I have built great customer relationships in the four years I have been with Lister Wilder and I want to continue doing this. It’s a people industry, by continuing to offer the best service we can we are building trust with our customer base and that is so important to me.’

Neil Davis, Service Director for Lister Wilder spoke about why he thinks Krissi is an important cog in the Lister Wilder business. ‘Krissi has had a big impact with our Customers and Service Staff since being promoted to Service Manager.  She has been consistent in achieving set targets for the department as well as successfully meeting the increased criteria to be classified a Kubota GOLD Service Dealer. Since her promotion, Krissi has successfully secured some high-profile accounts with bespoke service contracts and now recognises that fixed price servicing and extended warranty offerings are the way forward. With Lister Wilder now committed to Kubota and becoming the only full franchised dealership in Europe, I very much look forward to working with Krissi and her team next year and into the future.’
