Outstanding ground following ability, easy operation and low weight are among the high- lights of this machine. Working widths of 2.8- 3.2m.

The Kubota cutterbar is engineered with durability and excellent cutting performance in mind. The fully welded cutterbar is designed for long and demanding workdays with maximum uptime. The triangular disc provides excellent cutting performance, leaving a clean cut stubble.

Cutterbar

Triangular discs with 3 blades

Experience better cutting performance. The Kubota cutterbar is fitted with 3 bladed discs. They provide 50% higher cutting frequency for more cuts.

Always counter-rotating discs

All Kubota cutterbars have an even number of counter-rotating discs, meaning discs always work in pairs. This provides generous overlap between all discs and a better crop transport.

Strong and sturdy cutterbar design

The fully welded cutterbar with overlapping C-profiles makes for a rigid and strong de- sign, ensuring high level of durability.

Low maintenance cutterbar with quiet operation thanks to the specially tooled gear wheels.

Don’t compromise on your cutting performance. All Kubota mowers have an even number of counter-rotating discs, meaning discs always work in pair and turn towards each other. This provides maximum overlap between all discs and a better cut. In addition it efficiently and immediately transports the crop to the rear.

Three-bladed discs for more cuts

Kubota cutterbars, with the triangular shaped discs, are known for their excellent cutting performance. They provide a 50% higher cutting frequency compared to conventional solutions.

With three blades per disc Kubota mowers are constantly cutting. This means a third less load per knife and an even load on the drive and smoother power usage in addition to producing a neat, clean cut stubble.

Strong fully welded cutterbar

The Kubota cutterbar provides increased uptime with its fully welded design. The fully welded cutterbar with overlapping C-profiles makes for a very rigid and strong design, ensuring very high level of durability. It is designed for years of hard work.

The low noise cutterbar for comfortable work days

The Kubota cutterbar is renowned for its low noise level during operation. This is thanks to specially tooled gear wheels with round design and long teeth for efficient power transmission – convenient during a long and busy working day.

The long curved gear wheels run smoothly in oil and pro- vide lots of power transmission with little slack. The risk of the gearwheels “catching” on the corners is minimised by the special “round” design, which in turn reduces wear and noise.

Fully welded cutterbar

Fully welded cutterbar with overlapping C-profile for a strong and durable construction. High oil capacity ensures low working temperature.

NonStop BreakAway: keeps the cutterbar running

Kubota DM2000, DM3000 and DM3300 series are fitted with the Kubota NonStop BreakAway system to protect the cutterbar. The integrated

NonStop BreakAway system is designed to protect the cutterbar from foreign obstacles. Upon striking an obstacle in the field the mowing unit swings backwards and up. This provides maximum protection of the cutterbar. There is no need to stop – or even to reverse the tractor – to get the mowing unit into working position again. When engaged the spring loaded design ensures that the Kubota NonStop BreakAway system automatically returns the cutting unit to its original working position.

Conditioning

Effective conditioning: what makes SemiSwing stand out

Utilizing the centrifugal force is what makes the Kubota SemiSwing conditioner stand out to other conditioner systems. It offers aggressive conditioning effect with excellent protection of the tines and virtually no wear.

Aggressive conditioning – minimum blockages

SemiSwing gives you aggressive and full conditioner effect. When the rotor starts the SemiSwing tines will instantly move into their working position and stay in a fixed position.

The angle and position of the SemiSwing tines ensures best possible crop transport. The crop is moved away from the conditioner rotor towards the conditioner plate. The result is reduced risk of blockages and optimum use of the conditioner plate.

Excellent tine protection – no maintenance

When hitting an obstacle, the SemiSwing steel tines are able to pivot backwards and let obstacles pass through. This allows large obstacles (up to 103mm) to pass without breaking the tines. No broken tines will end up in the following pick-up and no repair is required on the conditioner rotor. It requires a weight of 22kg on the tine to pivot the Semi- Swing tine backwards.

This means the tine will stay in a fixed position during conditioning. The benefit is no movement during rotation, meaning virtually no wear and tear on the brackets and full conditioning effect.

Higher level operator comfort: a quick change artist

Performance and maximum comfort. This concept combines both to meet the exacting demands of any job in the field. The conditioner hood can be independently adjusted at both front and rear ends to customize the conditioner to crop intensity, for improved grass flow and power consumption.

Gentle roller conditioning

Preservation of nutritional value. Roller conditioning provides gentle, yet effective handling of fragile crop such as alfalfa or clover. Roller conditioning effectively cracks stems and their wax coating, while still preserving the nutritious leaves. This in turn facilitates an even drying pattern and full utilisation of the forage.
