KUBOTA COMPACT TELEHANDLER KTH4815-2

HEAVY DUTY CHASSIS

The KUBOTA KTH4815-2 is fitted with two heavy duty 8 tons capacity axles and heavy planetary end drive to insure good traction power, stability and handling of heavy loads. The differential lock on the front axle (option) is switchable on demand.

COMPACTNESS

The Kubota KTH4815-2 is very compact. With a width and height under 2 meters it can be used in narrow spaces such as old building, parking lots, etc …

SMART COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The KTH4815-2 is equipped with a smart communication system that makes maintenance easier. In addition it makes extra options possible.

COMFORT/PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE

The driver position of the KTH4815-2 is designed around the driver. All buttons and switches are easily reachable. The comfortable drivers seat has 2 armrest for optimal support during long work days. The optional closed cabin has a heater, radio and 4 working lights.

DASHBOARD

The dashboard gives the driver an easy overview over all important information as well as a diagram of lifting capacity. The user can concentrate fully on the job at hand.

MULTI-FUNCTION OPERATING LEVER AND STEERING COLUMN

The standard joystick is well-equipped with all the necessary buttons to operate the machine in total comfort. The driver can switch the driving mode and the speed by fingertip. But also extend the boom and switch between functions with the same hand while never having to let go of the steering wheel with the other hand. The steering column is also adjustable and allows the operator to work in optimal conditions.

Engine output KTH4815-2: 50 PS
KUBOTA engine is known for its reliability and durability. It is strong and powerful with respect for the environment especially for noise and emissions.

• Powerful, reliable, and efficient with low emission 37kW 3-cylinder (1826cc) Kubota D1803-CR diesel Stage V engine with DOC/DPF for increased regeneration and lower costs/downtime.
• 38-litre fuel tank

HYDRAULICS

The hydrostatic transmission is equipped with an high performance pump which guarantees an efficient transmission of the power to the wheels. The transmission is a permanent 4 WD for maximum traction force. With its two travel speed reaching 25 km/hr and its inching pedal, the KTH4815-2 responds to all kinds of working conditions.

• Engine power is transmitted by Bosch Rexroth hydraulic drive motors.
• Hydrostatic transmission (HST)
• Auxiliary hydraulic circuit control is mechanical (via a lever behind the joystick).
• Kubota hydraulic euro-hitch adds versatility and ease of use. Multiple attachment options increase flexibility.
• Hi spec version includes EH proportional control of aux. with adjustable flow and memory function.

• Turning radius of 1200mm (inner wheel) 2700mm (outer wheel).
• Up to 3 auxiliary circuits are available

PERFORMANCE

• Hydrostatic (HST) transmission is controlled by a single pedal offering precise control of travel speed particularly when working with front attachments.
• Hydrostatic 4-wheel drive
• The differential lock on the front axle (option) is switchable on demand.
• Maximum speed of 25 km/h.
• Heavy duty 8 tonnes capacity axles with heavy-duty planetary final drive to ensure good traction power, stability, and handling of heavy loads.
• The maximum reach height is 4800mm (at hinge pin height) with a tipping load of 1420kg (straight at the axles).
• Integral counterweight and tow hook to the rear of the loader. Optional counterweights are available for improved stability.

COMFORT

SPACIOUS CABIN
The KTH4815-2 has a spacious, quiet cabin with a large bended windshield, this gives good visibility. The driver has a 360° view. If more visibility is wanted extra mirrors are available in option.

VENTILATION HEATING
To keep the driver warm during working in the cold, the KTH4815-2 has an extensive ventilation heating. 3 outlets above the dashboard keep the windows and the driver warm while 1 on the bottom keeps the drivers feet warm. This keeps the KTH4815-2 comfortable even during the coldest months.

• Three steering modes include two-wheel ideal for road use, four-wheel for tight turning and crab steer making it easy to drive close to walls. (2 wheel/crab steer Hi-Spec deluxe version only)
• User-friendly multi-function operating lever and steering column for control of all major functions including driving mode, speed, and boom.
• Canopy versions provide an ergonomic and comfortable working area with all controls in reach with a clear view of dashboard information and includes a weight adjustable seat with armrest and back rest plus a tiltable steering column.
• Standard version fully enclosed cab with curved windscreen providing high visibility with includes heater, radio, single-piece door with a swing-open top-half window with LED road lights.
• Hi-Spec Deluxe version includes air-conditioning, an air suspension seat, plus a full LED light kit.
• Hand throttle with inching feature OR PRO inching with travel pedal for precise movement and improved efficiency when using attachments.
• The instrument panel provides at-a-glance information of the machine’s functions and conditions.

SAFETY

• ISO Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS) and Falling Object Protective Structure) (FOPS) as standard.
• Flashing warning LED beacon light and working light on lifting arm.
• The Deluxe cab comes with 3 working lights and side mirrors.
• Safety valves on the lift and tilt cylinder are available as an option to prevent a load from falling in the event of a hose rupture.
• Highly visible orange safety belt.
• Reversing warning buzzer.

MAINTENANCE

The bonnet can be widely open which ease the access to all major components such as oil check, radiator, air filter, battery, etc … Exhaust pipe is also directed to the top, better working conditions in dusty environments.

• All filters and daily checkpoints are easily accessible with a wide-opening engine bonnet.
• The engine maintenance interval is 500 hours.

TWO-WHEEL STEERING
Makes it possible to drive steady and steer accurately. Ideal for long distance travel.

FOUR-WHEEL STEERING
Very maneuverable in smaller areas due to the small turning radius.

CRAB STEER
Easy to drive closely to the wall.
