On steep slopes and over rough surfaces, the Kubota Utility Vehicles offer 4-wheel drive that adapts to all situations. There are several models, including two petrol versions (400 and 500 cc) and one diesel (900 cc) to meet all your needs.
Exclusive and innovative, the continuously variable hydrostatic transmission of the Kubota RTV 500 and X900 provides an unequalled performance even in the most demanding conditions. Downhill, it gives you precise control of the vehicle through its engine braking. Under normal operating conditions it transmits all the power of the engine, thus providing a towing capacity up to 1 tonne.
Thanks to their compact chassis, their ease of handling obstacles, these utility vehicles can operate directly on all types of sites. Highly appreciated for their robust construction and comfort, they are perfectly suited to both professional and amateur use.
On the highway or over the roughest terrain, the RTV series provides maximum comfort thanks to its innovative design and comfortable bench seat. The responsive hydrostatic steering and dynamic transmission braking give you the control you need to handle any terrain; while the independent suspension and high ground clearance literally soaks up all obstacles.
The type of terrain and work will determine whether a quad bike or utility vehicle is most suitable. Choose a quad bike for speed, and select high powered, four wheel-drive machines for hilly sites and boggy ground. The Kubota RTV Utility vehicles offer versatility, high load capacity and the ability to carry a passenger.
Quad bikes have front and rear carriers suited to transporting small loads, whilst the Kubota utility vehicle is capable of carrying large volumes of loose materials and tools.
A wide variety of trailed equipment such as mowers, spreaders and sprayers will further extend the use of the vehicle. Some examples are shown on pages 12-15.
Issues such as emissions and noise will take on different levels of importance depending on your site, public access and the detail of the work being undertaken. Electric vehicles are available for noise-sensitive areas and you’ll also need to take into account either charging points or an appropriate fuel source.
A range of options are available for utility vehicles, including all-weather cabs, leaf cages, hydraulic tipping boxes and tool holders. Consider whether any of these would be useful now or in the future and also ask about the most suitable type of tyre.
