Group Agricultural Parts Manager
Our Group agricultural parts manager Alan brings a huge amount experience to the table when it comes to parts and indeed agriculture in general.
Growing up on an 800-acre mixed farm in Wiltshire, Alan’s whole life has been around farming and agriculture. After completing his studies at Lackham College, he decided to jump into the industry with a parts assistant role at Oakes Bros, the local Ford dealer.
“I spent nearly 20 years working for Oakes Bros working my way up to Parts Manager. After deciding it was time for a new adventure, I spent the next 17 years of my career at Sparex, a leading supplier to the agricultural industry.”
With some impressive experience in the parts side of the industry, when Alan was looking for a change, it was no surprise that he stayed within agriculture, taking on the role of Group Parts Manager for the Agricultural side of Lister Wilder.
“The role here is great, I am based at Bibury, but I get to visit all the branches. I love the variety involved within the parts department as well as fulfilling customers expectations. My motto is ensuring we have the right part, at the right time! If we can achieve that, then we are doing our job!”
As well as ensuring each branch has readily available parts for each season Alan has been heavily involved in the growth of the team.

When Alan isn’t chatting mower blades and rake tines, he will generally be found outdoors or enjoying his passion for horse racing and formula one!
