About Ploughing Equipment

PLOUGHING EQUIPMENT

ECO PLOUGH

Kverneland offers the Ecomat range as a efficient alternative for shallow ploughing. It is a true solution to comply with the new European regulations aiming at decreasing the use of pesticides/fongicides/chemical weed controls.

MOUNTED REVERSIBLE PLOUGHS

The best crops need the best soil preparation.

Ploughing is for the majority of farmers one of the most efficient methods to control weeds, create humus and prepare soil for seeding efficiently. Keeping an eye on the bottom line is equally important. The burial of residues must be perfect and easy to achieve while cost must be minimized: low fuel consumption, low wearing of parts, low lifting capacities, low pull requirements. Comfort in transport and in operations is a must in modern farming. The plough must be robust and lasts long as any profitable investments.

SEMI-MOUNTED REVERSIBLE PLOUGHS

Cost efficient, easy to adjust and to maintain. Unique Kverneland steels and heat treatment technology are used for the entire ploughs. The PN and RN models are robust semi-mounted reversible ploughs with a 200×200 mm induction heat treated frame. These Kverneland ploughs feature a centre-mounted wheel and an easy manual stepwise furrow width adjustment.

MOUNTED CONVENTIONAL PLOUGHS

Increase your capacity up to 30% with 20% less fuel: Conventional mounted ploughs with stepless furrow width adjustment, manual or hydraulic. A robust 100×200 mm square frame, induction heat-treated by a special method developed by Kverneland, gives the necessary strength. This together with the heavy duty beams, the Kverneland auto-reset system and the well known Kverneland bodies contribute to high ploughing performance in most conditions

PACKERS

The soil packers are also called furrow presses. Single or double row rollers, they are pulled while ploughing. Positioned beside the plough, they re-consolidate the plough furrow while the soil still contain moisture. The soil re-consolidation is influenced by the choice of packers. Kverneland soil packers suit different soils conditions and local customs.
